The GaelicBCN offers weary travellers respite from the hustle and bustle, nestled away deep in Barcelona’s Gothic quarter. Head to Carrer Paradis – a cobbled back street off the Constitution Square (Plaça de Sant Jaume) – to discover a Middle-Earth-like stable house spread over two floors. Expect traditional tapas, great live acts in the day and night, and new drinks brands like refreshing draft Punk IPA by Brewdog alongside traditional drinks and liquors. There is a grilled food and salad menu at reasonable prices as well.
This place is a meeting point for students, local office workers and at 9pm every night, the Backpacker Great Night Out convenes, which gets you into the city centre clubs after sampling the night’s entertainment at the bar.
This month’s live acts include:
La Testapazza (4th 11pm)
Jonny Big Stone & Little Jordi (5th 1pm)
The Black Snakes (5th 11pm)
The Paparellos (11th 11pm)
