This is the only Persian restuarant in Barcelona, and its owners and team look forward to sharing their enthusiasm and love for Persian history and culture, through its food. It is an ancient cuisine with recipes that have been handed down for generations, using careful blends of ingredients seasoned with exquisite spices to bring out flavours like you’ve never tasted before. Speciality starters include “boraní,” a dish made with yogurt, spinach, raisins and nuts, and “kashko badenyún,” with aubergine, cured Persian cheese, onion, nuts and mint oil. Main rice dishes combine vegetables and meat with saffron, fennel and aromatic herbs. Kebabs are another speciality, carefully prepared and served with basmati rice. There’s a good selection of vegetarian options, and traditional Persian desserts to round off your meal in a way that will satisfy any sweet tooth.
Keep an eye out for special events here, such as Persian New Year which is celebrated in March, and performances by talented dancers and musicians.
