Every Sunday from June 28th to September 20th, the Joan Brossa Gardens on Montjuïc welcome back this popular summer day event. Mark it firmly in your social calendar!
For 13 Sundays in a row, locals and tourists can enjoy an eclectic line-up of national and international DJs. Last year’s sessions included the likes of Maceo Plex, Floorplan, Carl Craig, Deetron and Midland, and many others.
Doors open at 1pm, and music lasts until 9pm, so you can enjoy the sunshine during the day and watch as it sets over this fantastic city.
Bars serve cool refreshments such as beer and sangria throughout the day, and food trucks are on-site with delicious catering. The whole festival site is contactless, meaning that you top up a card at the beginning as you enter, which saves heaps of time for drinks queues throughout the day.
Piknic Electronik’s mission is to bring friends and family together, blurring the lines between a family-friendly Sunday picnic on the grass, and the urban, more cosmopolitan side of electronic music. The merging of the two becomes increasingly successful year after year, creating a blend of the traditional and sophisticated, cultured and chic, popular and metropolitan, all on the foothills of the charmingly alluring Montjuïc.
