Welcome to Barcelona’s “nightology” selection. November hits the floor running with internationally recognized Festival de Musica Popular de Barcelona and the MIRA electronic festival at the beginning of the month. The Voll Damn International Jazz Festival, which has been running since September continues until the end of December with some major league acts.

A very charming bar with stunning designs and artwork everywhere you look. It is situated at the post-office end of Carrer Ample and boasts a new bar-snacks and food menu. Sports are always an occasion, watched on the big screen with luscious cocktails and cold Amstel beers for 2€.

The Fastnet Pub (Barceloneta)
A favourite watering hole for the maritime community and tourists, the Fastnet is an institution in this city. All the sports action is here, as is a great selection of food and cheery staff. Thursday is quiz night, where the prize for the winning team is a bottle of Jagermeister. Rumour has it that a sports quiz night will take place on Tuesdays from November.

Shenanigans (Raval)
Formerly known as The Quiet Man, this is Barcelona’s oldest Irish public house and as such looks stunning, still in its original décor. The bar is a meeting point at the bottom of the Raval and has multiple screens to catch the big game during your stay. Estrella Damm (locally brewed lager) is 1€ between 6pm-9pm every day!
