The Hard Rock Cafe hardly needs an introduction. With almost 200 restaurants all around the globe, the brand and restaurant concept has been going strong from the opening of its first location 45 years ago.
Burgers are always popular, and the Hard Rock is not sitting idly by. It’s new burger (available for one week only between the 19th and 25th of September) is the brain child of chef Jordi Conesa. Inspired by the band Els Catarres and celebrating the unveiling of one of the band’s guitars in the Hard Rock’s memorabilia treasure chest, the burger is pure rock and roll decadence.
Made up of layers of tomato, mushrooms, and a divine (succulent but not fatty) lamb patty, everything is topped off with a dash of garlic oil. The cherry on the cake – or burger in this case – is the red wine reduction accompaniment. Run now, and you may still get your hands (and mouths) on one. This is American food with a twist of Catalan flavour. Yum!
