Designed by the Modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, and completed in 1930, the Hospital Sant Pau includes over 20 buildings, many of which are open to the public as part of the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site. Its grounds and various buildings include ornate chapels, landscaped gardens, and a library, as well as being one of the city’s main hospitals. It has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site
