A musical that crosses two eras, geolocated in Havana from the 50s and 90s, which emerges from self-referentiality and takes on the essence of a culture and its roots. It meanders through day to day stories of Cuba, with all its ups and downs, but with humor, nostalgia and joy, decisions and questions. This musical flirts aesthetically with music magazines, contemporary dance, theatre and music.

Sounds on Sunday is an alternative aural experience curated by Barcelona City FM DJ's, genre hopping the full spectrum of downtempo electronic beats, from hip hop to funk, soul-jazz, house and beyond. Sounds on Sunday sessions are becoming the place to be for an alternative end of week shakedown with DJ's pulling out influencer sets to a growing station community.
This Sunday, Friday night host's from the city's FM station for English speakers are Track Family’s Owen Pidcock and the rather fab D.N.S from Groove Control, both of whom will come set with an arsenal of soul, funk, disco, and down tempo beats from the old school to the nu school, while the in house cocktails kick in at the themed surroundings of Asian Fusion restaurant Nomm, an uber cool eatery and cocktail bar midway on Paral-lel. Immediately by the exit of Poble Sec Metro on the Green Line.

Culture Vulture BCN has teamed up with Barcelona Connect, the city’s number one English language magazine and tour guide, and Ibiza 5 Star to host a very special House and Techno “Sunset” mini cruise experience, departing on the last Sunday of August at 6pm
The 5 Star Catamaran will set sail from Port Olimpic on the UK August Bank Holiday Sunday – 27th August. The catamaran boasts a huge single deck with a massive dance floor area, VIP areas, bar space and a sound system powered by Void Acoustics.
DJs onboard will be Funk D’Void (Soma), Paul Loraine (My Favourite Robot), Mark J (Ahoren Music) & Redness (Cuture Vulture) who will spin the latest electronic music as you sit back and relax with a mojito or groove along to the freshest vibes.

Guiriness Comedy announces its big season comeback show at Shamrock Bar on Friday, September 15th. The next show in its quality comedy lineup will be that unmistakeable culchie that is KARL SPAIN.
Described as "achingly funny" by The Sunday Times, Karl is a regular headliner on the Irish comedy circuit as well as internationally, touring with Kevin Bridges and Ed Byrne. He stole the show this year at Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival, with frequent sold-out shows at the likes of Galway Comedy Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe and Montreal Just for Laughs.
Karl Spain is here for two performances: Our monthly Friday night show in Shamrock Barcelona, then our Saturday night show in Wylie Brewery (Sitges). Both have excellent beers on tap, so head down for belly laughs in Barcelona or Sitges in stitches!
-Shamrock Bar Barcelona Show- C/Tallers 72 (Metro Universitat).
-Doors 20.30h. Show 21.30h. This is normally a full house event so please come early on the night for seats. Late-comers may be standing room only.
-There are a limited number of earlybird tickets online (10€). After that it’s pay-at-door (12€).
*Can’t make it to Friday’s Show? Then come down to the Sitges show on Saturday 16th September. If you’re coming in from Barcelona, there’s a Monbus back from Sitges at 23.52h.
