This street parade takes place in several parts of Catalonia including Martorell, Montserrat, Tortosa and, of course, Barcelona. The biggest celebration is held in the district of Sant Antoni, which welcomes the festivities of the Tres Tombs, in honour of the patron saint of animals Sant Antoni.
The street action includes 35 horse-drawn carriages as well as old firetrucks and hearses, and lots of people and their pets accompanied by a live musical entourage. This is one of the most interesting parades you are likey to come across in Spain; go ahead and feed your curiosity.
The procession departs at 11am from C/ Calàbria with C/ Floridablanca, and arrives 12:45 at Pl St. Jaume.
