The ‘Palo Alto Market’ is Barcelona’s answer to a sophisticated street market, perfectly suited for a city notorious for its creativity. Held on the first weekend of every month, the market offers a spectacular array of music and street theatre, family workshops, gourmet street food and various fashion, vintage and design stalls.

Starting with a bang, the first of the series of markets is inspired by soul. Soak up the colours of Africa with the exquisite creations of Ramon Gurillo and Silbando Bajito´s painted ceramics. Allow yourself to experience the taste of soul with Ana Cortés’ paella and the other delicious cuisines that the market has to offer whilst enjoying live music from the ‘Aupa Quartet’ and ‘Lessus & The Family’. If you´re looking to entertain the kids, Mister Karton offers a fantastic workshop where they can get in touch with their creative side and develop their artistic skills in the hands of professionals.

The market will return in November with the theme of street music whilst December´s edition will be design focused.
