Following a strong inauguration of the new season, Sala Hiroshima presents Monster, by French company K. Danse.

The archetypal Minotaur legend was told through a different perspective by Jorge Luis Borges in his short story “The House of Asterion”,(1947), from the consciousness of the mythical creature itself, complicit with the labyrinth that marked the boundaries of its reality.  This performance shines the light of another perspective onto the myth with its creative fusion of contemporary dance and digital technology. Translucent screens draw the audience both into and outside the labyrinth; physical theatre questions the social construction of the body; vivid visual experimentation invites us to reflect on the psychological structures of human relationships and the frontiers between fiction and reality.

“Monster” is part of the European project “Metabody”, and the “Fenomèns” cycle in collaboration with Espai Erre, and this is your chance to experience their innovative line of creative investigation in Barcelona this weekend.
