Turista Bang Bang, resident Dj at the established Rock’n’ Roll night A Wamba Buluba Cub, is opening this Thursday, alongside guest Dj Lyon.
A Wamba Buluba Rock’n’Roll Club presents Thursday nights at Marula. Already well known on the music scene, this night aims to showcase emerging groups and talents, aiming to inspire the energy of this intimate club with local DJs and resident bands as well as opening their doors to international bands and groups, gearing them with the opportunity to diversify the eclectic mix of sounds this night has to offer.

The melodic and accessible British pop and folk star, Adam Levy, presents his new album ‘Unravelled’. Recorded in Vancouver, Canada, his songs include reflective themes, discovering the essence of the human condition and nature, intertwined with music from the likes of Ben Harper and José González.
00h. Anibalson & Miguel Superstar
A collector of Afro-Caribbean vinyls, the majority of which jazz, soul and funk, Anibalson started to break the music scene of Barcelona in 2003 at the notorious Razzmatazz. In the same year, he became resident at Sifó Bar, where he stayed for an uninterrupted 6 years, alongside his residencies at U-Collective as well as other more underground clubs in Barcelona. In 2007 he founded RavalGroove Records, and later on in 2012 he founded Funk&Soul Records with his friends. Currently he is focussing on groove and funk styles, which will transcend Marula together with the sounds of the fantastic Miguelito Superstar.

Outer Space were born with the intention of rediscovering the afrobeat spirit of Nigeria and the ethiojazz spirit of Ethiopia from the 60s and 70s, when the afroamerican sounds and beats such as jazz, soul and funk were recognised. Inspired by worldly dimensions and exotic landscapes, these seven musicians present an original repertoire full of surprises. Outer Space will be the band accompanying us on a journey passing through Africa and New York throughout the 70s.

Described by Rolling Stone Magazine as ‘the most fascinating, retro-maniac and genuine thing that has happened to Italy in the past few years’, Calibro 35 happen to be one of the coolest bands around. The Italian band return to Marula to present their latest album, S.P.A.C.E, the perfect sound track to a new science fiction film directed by Sergio Leone, inspired by instrumental funk and the music of detective films from the 60s and 70s.
