It’s time to catch up with mobile technology’s latest wave of evolution at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the “GSMA Mobile World Capital”, from March 2nd-5th 2015. This is the most important international exhibition for the mobile industry, with around 1,900 exhibitors showcasing their latest advances to an estimated attendance of 70,000, representing over 200 countries worldwide – so don’t miss out!
MWC is a unique Barcelona event which also offers a fantastic opportunity for those with an interest in gadgets and technology to immerse themselves in the world of mobiles, apps, gaming technologies and to catch a glimpse of what’s coming next in the mobile world!
Not to be missed at this years event
This year, the GSMA Mobile World Congress will be divided in to 8 exhibition halls with different zones. There will be over 1,900 of the leading suppliers of mobile devices and more than 12,000 app developers in attendance. Here are some of our must see’s at this years event:
- Conference Village: This section will feature visionary keynotes and panel discussions regarding a range of topics including how the connected lifestyle is transforming industries, mobile in emerging markets and discussions on current trends and concerns within the existing mobile world.
- App Planet Exhibitions: This section will showcase the products and services that are bringing a new dimension of interaction of every sector, including media, technology and retail. Over 200 exhibitors will showcase their products in the App Planet.
- Networking Gardens: This outdoor area will allow you to meet and network with potential partners, clients and fellow professionals. There will be a total of 8 outdoor “Networking Gardens” where you can arrange to meet clients or simply strike up random conversations about what you have experienced so far at the event!
Getting to the Mobile World Congress 2015
The Fira de Barcelona is divided in to two venues, The Fira de Barcelona Gran Via can be reached by FGC (Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat de Catalunya) train from Plaça Espanya and the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc is located in Plaça Espanya, which can easily be reached by metro on L1 (Red) or L3 (Green).
