Thomas Dybdahl made the final touches to his seventh solo album, “The Great Plains“, in the Studio Propeller of Oslo. The album was released this past 24th of February through V2 / Bertus. This album comes four years after his latest work “What’s Left It’s Over” was at the top of the Norwegian sales charts and was nominated for a Grammy in the U.S.

For this occasion, Thomas has surrounded himself with several songwriters such as Ingrid Helene Håvik (Highasakite),Nina Nielsen, Øystein Greni, David Baerwald and David Poe; as well as 20011 Grammy Award winning producer Kåre Vestrheim, who has worked with a long list of artist; Among them, Hanne Hukkelberg, Jagga Jazzist or Moddi, just to name a few.

“In this album I was fortunate enough to write with some of my favorite artist and I can’t wait to go on tour with these wonderful songs. Most songs on the album revolve around that moment of your life in which suddenly you look in the mirror and within yourself and you discover that you don’t recognize the man that reflects back and looks at you.
