Americana Film Fest celebrated its first independent film festival in 2014 at Cinemes Girona, coordinated by a group of people keen to showcase a strong selection of the best independent american films to the people of Barcelona. The response was excellent and the audience huge, proving to be such a success that it continued the following year in 2015, once again aiming to demonstrate a diverse and creative  cinema beyond american stereotypes.

The acclaimed festival returns  once again this year to display the raw talent of independent film producers, and to encourage viewers to dig deeper into the cinematic world to discover what more it has to offer.
