This new piece dives deep into the experience of the generation born in the 1980s and their relationship with existential questions of solitude and death. An intimate and autobiographical journey through the past and future of a thirty-something gay man. He is accompanied in this performance by a stream of secondary participants, perhaps friends who appear and disappear at different moments of life, often accompanying rather than dissolving moments of solitude.
Alejandro Curiel uses his many artistic tools to create moments on stage that describe sensations and capture emotions. Memories from childhood are revisited, stories of early lovers, and the search for the physical beauty of youth. His first performance at Sala Hiroshima in December 2015, Bonne, Belle, Douce based on a play by Jean Genet was a huge success; this time Curiel pushes into an even more intimate realm to ignite his vibrant fuse of creativity.
Curiel studied acting at the School of Dramatic Arts in Valladolid, completing his training in contemporary dance and visual theater. He works in Barcelona as an actor and specializes in stage direction at the Theatre Institute, working in various small format productions.
