ChichaLimoná is a dual establishment bringing you the best of both worlds; a chic cocktail bar and a popular café-restaurant under one roof. This unique duplicity runs through everything they do, with their blend of a modern interior with a rustic feel and a diverse drinks menu encompassing both craft beers and cocktails. What’s more, their broad selection of food caters for every time of day, whether its an early brunch, a romantic dinner, or light tapas, with the same quality and attention to detail.
Limoná handle the beverages side of this joint operation with exemplary care, both morning coffees and late night cocktails (we’d particularly recommend the Crimson Pirate to any rum lovers). For a medium-sized, independent organisation, their drinks list is undeniably impressive, and you’ll be hard pressed to choose between their many tea varieties, fresh juices and unusual soft drinks, for instance their organic ginger beer.
Meanwhile, Chicha serves a rich menu, combining Iberian favourites such as cod croquettes with international recipes, including their sweet potato confit desert. The ambience is comparably tranquil in this half of ChichaLimoná, yet it still retains a happening vibe thanks to its perpetual popularity with locals and tourists alike. Each dish arrives beautifully arranged, and the chefs like to experiment with eclectic combinations – the butternut squash appetizer with salmon caviar being a case in point. Look out for their seven-course tasting menu of unconventional tapas dishes, accompanied by a welcome cocktail.
Enter ChichaLimoná any evening of the week (except Monday), after 8pm and encounter a lively atmosphere, courteous staff and live music on Thursdays. During the day, a more relaxed environment reigns, perfect for a cup of coffee and a slice of one of their renowned homemade cakes. Either way, enjoy their excellent food and tantalising drinks in the midst of a quirky and modern interior.
