Spazio Wellness
A cheaper option to relax in Barcelona is Spazio Wellness. It is located in the basement of Hotel Diagonal Zero, which makes for a great and tranquil place to unwind. Even though it is located in the basement, there is still plenty of natural light coming from the outside terrace. More importantly, they offer everything one might desire in a wellness centre, and the prices are very reasonable! Admission to the water circuit, which will also give you access to the underground gym, will only cost you €15. Even better, from Monday to Thursday they offer a 2-for-1 deal when reserving online!
Spazio Wellness is located at Plaça de Llevant and the best way to get there is to take the metro (L4) to El Maresme | Fòrum station.
Mandarin Oriental
For anyone looking for an oriental spa in Barcelona, this is the place for you! They offer many services including a mosaic-encrusted recliner, a 12-metre-long spa pool and they offer their signature service, the Oriental Essence. This massage will cover you in Quintessence oil, which is made with ginger, mandarin and frankincense. This treatment will make you feel like you’re in heaven! However, it is rather expensive as it will cost you €180 for 80 minutes.
Mandarin Oriental can be found at Passeig de Gràcia, 38-40, and the best way to get there is to take the metro (L2,L3,L4) to Passeig de Gràcia station.
Hotel Miramar Spa by L’Occitane
The final wellness centre that we would like to share with you is the Hotel Miramar Spa by L’Occitane. This tranquil space can be found in the Montjuïc Hills which makes for a nice hike after your treatment. The most spectacular feature this place has to offer is the indoor pool with a waterfall. In addition, they also have wet and dry saunas for you to relax in. We really can recommend their treatment called the Mediterranean Voyage, which consists of a 45-minute body scrub followed by 60-minute full body massage. This treatment will set you back around €160.
Hotel Miramar Spa by L’Occitane can be found at Plaça de Carlos Ibáñez, 3 and the best way to get there is to take the bus 150 to Av Miramar – Pl Carlos Ibáñez. In case you don’t like taking the bus, there is a cable car which will take you from the port straight to the Spa!
