Barcelona´s Museum of Music offers you a chance to look into the world of music with over 500 instruments in their permanent exhibition along with documents and other objects. Architect Rafael Moneo is behind the design of the museum which opened its doors in 2007.
Some of the instruments you can check out in display at the museum include Pèrez Molero´s organ, classical guitars by Antonio de Torres, Christian Zell´s harpsichord and more. This is a great place to bring the family with the opportunity to hear various instruments and even learn to play them from the museum´s interactive gallery.
Adult admission to the museum is around €5 and free for those 16 and under. Guided tours are offered for groups along with a classical guitar concert. You can get to the museum by taking the L1 metro to station Glòries or bus 6, 7, 62, H12 and V21.
