St Patrick’s Barcelona is a celebration of the art, music, sport and culture of Ireland at three locations in the city. The event is presented by Iomramh, a cultural association co-founded by Irish artist Mark Redden in 2008.
The 8th edition of the Mediterranean Currach Regatta will take place on Sunday March 19th and is supported by Kerrygold, with crews traveling from America, Ireland and elsewhere. The course runs from Moll de la Marina, consisting of a sea race of 800 meters. Following the regatta there will be Gaelic games demonstrations on the beach, Irish music with Bauma and a performance by the O’Connor School of Irish Dance. The best of Irish food and drink will be provided by Guinness, Dawn Meats and Kerrygold at Club Pati Vela from 12 midday. To cap it all off, traditional Irish music supergroup Kila will perform in Razzmatazz on Sunday evening. Doors open at 20.00. Supported by Culture Ireland.
