This is Nightlife Desk’s favourite electronic music venue in the city right now. It’s awesome… so awesome in fact that Bilbao’s infamous Sonora Club is opening up a Barcelona chapter here. Harlem Jazz Club
A unique venue in the heart of the Gothic Quarter with the best jazz, blues and swing in the city and top international artists. Rumba Catalana
Rumba Catalana originated in the early 1960s as a fusion of Catalan gypsy flamenco music with Cuban and Columbian rhythms. More upbeat than flamenco, it celebrates life and the struggle for social justice. Look out for Rumba concerts around town, or spend an evening at La Rumbeta, at Passatge Escudellers 7, for a taste of some of Barcelona’s most authentic beats.
