By day, Barcelona´s beach clubs provide the idyllic spot to relax by the beach, soak up the sun and admire the spectacular views of the seafront. But by night, the story is somewhat different. As the sun starts to set, prepare yourself for a night to remember where you can party into the early hours of the morning. Opium Mar:
A trip to Barcelona would not be complete without a night spent at the world famous Opium Mar. As the city´s biggest and most popular beach club, expect to party alongside Barcelona´s elite into the early hours of the morning until 6am. Having previously welcomed the likes of Avicci, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, David Guetta and the Black Eyed Peas, a memorable night is guranteed. Feel like a VIP with its glamorous and sophisticated vibe and dress to impress! Ladies, dig out your LBD and Louboutins and gentleman, swap your shorts for shirts. Due to it being one of the most talked about venues in Barcelona, put your name on the guest list in advance to avoid queues.
Pacha:
Why go to Ibiza when Barcelona houses its very own Pacha nightclub! In the city that never sleeps, the club is open every day making it a hotspot amongst the hardcore Erasmus partygoers. However, whether or not you’re a student living on the breadline, you´ll most certainly feel like an A-lister as you make your way down the elegant staircase leading to the massive dancefloor. The club´s chic white décor with purple and fuchsia lighting only adds to its vibrant atmosphere putting you in the mood to boogie all night. Musical styles vary from day to day but if commercial and latin music is your scene, Pacha is the place for you.
CDLC (Carpe Diem Lounge Bar):
Enjoy an exquisite evening of fine dining at one of Barcelona´s swankiest restaurants with its international menu to suit each and every taste. With its ornate oriental-style décor, flawless service and luxurious setting it typically attracts a young, fashionable and affluent crowd including Barcelona´s most eligible bachelors. As the evening progresses, dance the night away at CDLC´s exclusive club which offers a varied music style throughout the week including R&B, house and electro. Instead of international DJ sets, CDLC tends to focus on local talent and upcoming artists.
Danzatoria:
With a capacity of 1000 people, a roof terrace and two floors, it is one of the larger clubs along the strip. Also one of the trendiest, party as if you were in Las Vegas with its soft neon lights and big-name DJs jetting in to man the decks from Moby to French Montana. Danzatoria offers the best of both worlds with a very different ambience on both floors. The main room downstairs is for showing off your moves and having a sing-along to the latest hip-hop and RnB tunes. On the upper level, there is the Sky Room and newly opened Terrace offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Here the vibe is more relaxed and chilled and is the ideal space to have a laugh with your friends and mingle with the crowd.
